Sabine County, Texas. Narrow fat type Scottsbluff, made from a highly patinated translucent rootbeer flint with cream spots. Gracefully shaped and balanced. Small pressure flakes meet in center forming a medial swell which tapers evenly in thickness towards base and tip, finished with fine straight edge work all around. Stem edges have light grinding. Found in 2011 near the Sabine River. "One of the best I have ever handled!" -Bill German. Pictured in "The Finest Artifacts of Prehistoric Texas" Pg. 32, item 22.
