Montgomery County, Texas. Scottsbluff of the long narrow fat type, found by Troy Ayers near the West Fork of the San Jacinto River in the 80’s or early 90’s. Made of a light brown alluvial river gravel with tiny fossil inclusions. Small pressure flakes meet in center forming a medial swell (not quite a ridge) which tapers evenly in thickness towards the base and tip. Fished with fine straight edge work all around. Stem edges have light grinding. Has a small flat remnant of smooth cortex left on one face. Previously collected by Dwain Rogers and Bill German. (4-3/16" X 1-1/4")
