Austin County, Texas. Early Stem Lanceolate, Angostura variant, made from a creek stained, sand polished, translucent brown flint. Large and very well made, wide across center with an extended needle tip, narrow delicate heavily ground stem. The second best example of type known at this time. Found by Bobby Krice in the early 1990's near Mill Creek. Pictured in The Finest Artifacts of Prehistoric Texas, Pg. 21. Previously collected by Bill German. (4-3/8" X 1-3/8")
