Vernon Parish Louisiana. Extremely large and well made Ross County Clovis, 11500 B.P.. A sequence of large overshot percussion flake scars, fine edge work and good flutes are evident on both sides. Made from Texas flint, possibly Georgetown, with heavy creamy white patination. Found in the Sabine River Basin. (5-11/16” x 1-3/8”).
