Jasper County, Texas. Scottsbluff. Perfect and exceptional example made from dark rootbeer flint with a brown creek stain and hazy white patina, overal mottled in appearance. Extremely well made and symmetrical, with convex blade edges converging to a perfect tip. Fine pressure flakes meet in center to form a gentle medial ridge, more like a swell, on both sides. Tapers evenly in thicknes from center to tip and base. Relatively large shoulders and an expanding stem and straight base; stem edges are ground smooth. Perfect condition. Found by Vernon Smith. Previously collected by Curtis Hodge. (4-5/16" X 1-3/16")
