Cass County, Texas. Dovetail, nicknamed “The Golden Dove”. Found near the south shore of the Sulphur river, by James Owens. Fabulously well made first stage example. Excellent flaking and stem edges are heavily ground. Has a smooth tapered Scottsbluff feel. “Gold, yellow and browns make this the most beautiful piece I have ever seen” Bill German.
