Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Howard County point, resembles a Dovetail. Medium size well made example. Made from an orange-brown cobble Chert with tannic acid stain patina. Convex blade edges converge to a good tip. Narrow side notched with a broad convex stem base and rounded basal corners. Stem edges are heavily ground. One side of stem is missing from an ancient break. Nice rare example of a Louisiana dovetail! Previously collected by Roger Murray and William M. German. (2-7/16" X 1-1/4") E.B
