Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Dovetail, made of dark tan Texas chert. Found by David Sessum in 2004 near the Sabine River. Perfect broad medium size example with convex blade edges to a good tip. It has a nice wide stem with rounded corners and a straight base. Notches curve toward the tip slightly. Stem edges are ground smooth, and it is pressure flaked allover to form a smooth tapering feel in the hand, like a good Scottsbluff. This point has excellent symmetry and shaping… fine relic! Previously collected by Devid Sessum and William M.German. (3-1/16" X 1-1/4") E.B
