Tyler or Jasper County, Texas. Polished Drilled Bird Head Effigy Bead. Found near the Neches River. Pretty shaped, smoothed and polished likeness for a birds head bead. Drilled through from both sides to serve as the eyes. All edges are rounded to shape the head with a beak and a more accurate head shape. Previously collected by Curtis Hodge. (1-1/8" X 9/16") E.B
