Angelina County, Texas. Large ovoid Gorget with decorated edges and two holes. The decorative notches on the edges form two opposing sides of a circle. Thin and symmetrically made, smoothed and polished all over. Made from fine grained banded orange and brown hematite siltstone. Found along the Angelina River near Lake Sam Rayburn. Previously collected by Doug Weeks and William German (1601) . (5-5/8" X 2-5/16")
