Jefferson County, Texas. Drilled Birdhead effigy bead. Found near the McFaddin beachsite, by the gulf of Mexico shoreline. Found by Jackie and Kenny Roby. Small shaped and polished figure of a birds head with a drilled hole as the eyes. Grooved on one side to separate the pointed beak area. Made from the end piece of fossil bone. Previously collected by Jackie and Kenny Roby, William M. German (4310). (1-1/4" X 7/8") E.B
