Franklin Parish, Louisiana. Grooved Hematite Plummet. Found in a plowed field near the Beouf River. Found by Bo Ersken. Large well made symmetrical example. Nearly perfect with only tiny depressions on the surface. Has circular groove around it near one end. And pointed at the other end. Depressions and groove have visible red ochre. Surface is highly polished. Previously collected by Bo Ersken, Zachery Smith. (3-3/8" X 1-1/8") E.B
