Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. Plummet. Found near Merryville While in an archeological class dig on Hovier Creek near state highway 389. Found by Tommy Cowart in 1989. Large and narrow example, pointed at top and rounded at the base. Smoothed and polished allover. No circles or holes were made at the top. Very symmetrical allover. Poverty point culture.
