Cass County, Texas. Polished fully grooved axe, made from black-brown hematite. Found by the Owen Family. Very well made classic form. Butt end and bitt end are rounded. Pecked out shaped, smoothed and very polished allover. Has a fully grooved area for hafting. The bitt end shows no use wear. Previously collected by Joe Owen(3-7/8" X 2-3/4") E.B
