Bowie County, Texas. Large, symmetrical shuttle-style bannerstone made from gorgeous translucent, high-grade ferruginous quartz with deep reds and browns. An extremely fine and well-made example, fully drilled with a 7/16” central hole. The piece was carefully shaped, ground smooth, and heavily polished across the entire surface. One of the finest bannerstones reported from Texas—an exceptional, high-quality artifact. Previously collected by Kent Westbrook. Dimensions: 2-3/8” Ă— 2-3/8”.
