North East Texas. Fully groove hardstone axe. Large fairly well made fully grooved axe. Has a flattened rim around the edge of the groove. The bitt end is much narrower than the butt end. Butt end shows much use wear. Pecked, well shaped but was not ground smooth and has no polish. Previously collected by Jim Ehlert (6" X 3-9/16")E.B
